Job summary

MedSpeed in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver. You will spend much of your day driving a company vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, and other supplies, while following safety procedures and using a handheld scanner.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with using technology and handheld devices.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items using appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adapt routes as needed based on client and business needs.
