Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment in Wisconsin. The role requires telemetry reading skills, a WI or compact RN license, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience. Travel nursing experience is preferred.

The assignment lasts 13 weeks with night hours 19:00–07:30 and includes weekend/holiday rotations. Epic EMR is used; local candidates may receive a reduced rate and potential extensions are discussed with the manager

Qualifications

Active WI or compact RN license
Current BLS certification (AHA)
NIH Stroke Scale certification
Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience
Telemetry background with ability to read telemetry
Prior travel nursing experience
Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (<1/4 inch)

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit
Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
13-week assignment length
Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
Uses Epic EMR
May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
Must reside within a facility-specific radius for standard travel pay rate; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
Only one submission permitted per candidate across all Ascension positions system-wide
Full Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
COVID vaccination is not required
