East Liverpool City Hospital in East Liverpool, OH, is seeking a Nurse Assistant in Med Surg/Telemetry for night shift. You will support daily living activities, assist with basic nursing care, and help maintain a safe patient environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Required CNA certification at hire (preferred), BLS within 30 days, and knowledge of medical terminology. Prior acute care experience is preferred; behavioral violence prevention certification is encouraged within 6

Formación

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred
• Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current.

Responsabilidades

• The Nurse Assistant assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintains a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
