The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a night shift, part-time Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.

The RN will coordinate safe patient care, assess needs, and continually revise care plans to meet the diverse biological, emotional, and educational needs of patients and families. Required qualifications include Kansas RN licensure and an associate degree in nursing, with BLS within 14 days of hire and ACLS for Tele/ICU/PCU.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN Licensure.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• BLS certification needed within 14 days of hire/transfer.
• ACLS required for Tele, ICU, and PCU.
• Oncology certification required post-surgery.
• All certifications must be completed within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for diverse Med-Surg populations.
• Assess patient/family needs, set goals, evaluate care, and revise the plan.
• Delegate care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
