Memorial Community Hospital & Health System is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to join our Medical/Surgical team. This role focuses on patient-centered care with collaboration among providers and staff to plan, implement, and document nursing care for diverse patients.

The position requires Nebraska or Iowa licensure, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and 1 year of nursing experience preferred. A $10,000 hiring bonus is offered along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN or LPN license in Nebraska or Iowa (required).
• BLS certification (required).
• ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire).
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (RN or LPN) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across med/surg and skilled nursing settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and education.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress.
• Administer medications and treatments safely via various routes.
• Respond to both routine and emergency patient needs.
• Participate in patient admissions, obtain informed consent, and complete timely documentation.
• Support a culture of teamwork by cross-training and floating to other nursing departments as needed.
