Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collects symptoms and detailed patient history, coordinating with health care team.
• Performs triage and assesses physical and psychosocial factors.
• Stabilizes patients using life support as needed until physician is available.
• Administers medications and records dosages.
• Assists physicians during exams, tests, and treatments.
• Maintains supplies and equipment, ensures safe patient environment.
• Educates patients and families on post-treatment care and referrals.
