Job summary

Grant Medical Center is seeking a Staff RN for Med Surg Oncology, night shift. You will provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum, under HRO safety and quality standards. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high reliability and continuous improvement.

RN license and BLS are required; BSN preferred or required at 5 years of employment. Work schedule is 36 hours per week, nights, with department Med Surg Unit 1.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs (30%).
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and revises plan of care with the team (20%).
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement activities to improve quality and safety (10%).
• Operations - Performs day-to-day nursing tasks in a 24/7 environment.
