Job summary

Centurion Health in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a part-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join Western Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center. The role involves administering medications as prescribed and documenting effectiveness and any adverse actions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, active L1MA or CMT cert (insulin cert preferred), completion of required training, and ability to pass a background check and security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active Level 1 Medication Aide certification or CMT; insulin certification is preferred.
• CNA certification with insulin certification on Missouri State Registry is acceptable.
• Must complete required continuing education (min 4 hours every 2 years) and maintain CPR/AED.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as prescribed and documents effectiveness and adverse actions.
• Maintain TB documentation and CPR/AED certification.
• Complete required continuing education to maintain certification.
• Pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• Part-time night shift, 12 hours per week.
