Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic math, reading and writing skills and be able to communicate in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the schedule and call for batches from the meat room as required.
• Weigh all ingredients and record weight before batching.
• Record lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient used.
• Kitchen operator acts as final QC check and must notify QC and supervisor of issues.
• Follow batch sheets and record batching information for each batch.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen during can size changeovers or when instructed.
• Follow rinse procedures for equipment and tanks as directed.
• Regulate drop temperatures per batch sheet guidelines or supervisor instructions.
