Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc in Emporia, KS is seeking hourly production workers for full‑time shifts. You will follow the production schedule, batch and weigh ingredients, record batch data, and support quality control with the supervisor.

Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, stand for the shift, wear PPE, and communicate in English. In-person applications at the Simmons Foods Hiring Center are encouraged between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for priority consideration.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Follow the order of the schedule and call for batches from the meat room, as required.
• Weigh all ingredients and record weight before batching.
• Record lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient used.
• Kitchen operator is a final check for Q.C and supervisor and must notify if anything unusual.
• Follow formula guidelines on batch sheets.
• Record batching information for each batch on kitchen sheets.
