Job summary

Copeland, based in Natchitoches, LA, is hiring a Materials Handler for the plant nights to move merchandise, pack inventory, and ship orders using an RF scanner and forklift. You’ll ensure inventory accuracy, maintain a safe work area, and train teammates as needed.

You must be at least 18, able to lift 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and obtain forklift certification. The role includes a guaranteed wage progression every 3 months for the first two years and a $1.50/hr shift premium for 2nd

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift; training provided to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise around the facility and prepare for shipment.
• Pack inventory and prepare for shipment; load pallets and seal shipments.
• Utilize an RF Scanner daily to complete orders and verify inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and meet safety regulations.
• Train other team members in assigned operations as needed.
