Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Material Handler II in St. Louis to independently perform day-to-day warehouse activities that ensure safe, compliant, and on-time material flow.

Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, and shipping across multiple warehouse areas. You will process receipts, material moves, and ship confirmations in RF/WMS systems with strong attention to detail; operate forklifts and other certified equipment; support kitting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equipment certifications to be obtained after hire.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or shipping environments preferred.
• Proficiency with RF/WMS transactions for receipts, moves, picks, and shipments.
• Able to operate powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, put-away, replenish, pick, pack, stage, and ship materials across multiple warehouse areas.
• Process receipts and ship confirmations with attention to detail in RF/WMS systems.
• Support production schedules through kitting and line-side replenishment.
• Conduct cycle counts and location audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Escalate issues to Lead or Supervisor and assist in training new team members.
• Participate in 5S, process improvements, and cross-training activities.
