Job summary

Westfall Technik Inc. in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Night Shift Material Handler to support movement and preparation of materials for manufacturing.

You will assist technicians, handle disposal and regrind of materials, and ensure finished goods are prepared for warehouse while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; forklift experience is a plus and can be trained on the job.

Qualifications

• Movement & preparation of raw materials and finished product for manufacturing.
• Recordkeeping and documentation for shipping and receiving.
• Maintain and improve a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Movement & preparation of all raw materials and finished product for manufacturing.
• Assists technician and Inspector Packers when needed.
• Disposal of waste to proper container and regrind product as required.
• Prepares finished product for warehouse.
• Housekeeping and organization of facility.
• Recordkeeping and documentation for shipping and receiving.
• Replace films on machines and tools as required.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Participate in problem solving & improvement teams.
• Maintain proper amount of additive at machine (color, etc.)
