Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC, a leader in technology and innovation, is seeking a Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations with warehousing and logistics duties. You will ensure timely fulfillment and maintain accuracy in data entry.

You will operate a forklift, stage products, and use warehouse software while performing tasks safely on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills including MS Excel and data entry; SAP desirable.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and move material in the warehouse.
• Stage finished products and enter data in warehouse systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Perform duties safely and according to procedures on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
