Job summary

Jowat Corporation in High Point, NC is seeking a Material Handler Forklift Operator for the night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule. The role involves pulling materials to and from the production floor and maintaining high housekeeping in the warehouse.

Responsibilities include scanning transfer orders, returning materials to storage, coordinating with operators on product changeovers, and helping production to prevent downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in scanning and inventory activities.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized warehouse workspace.

Responsibilities

• Complete all transfer orders by scanning to machines in a timely manner.
• Return raw materials, packaging, remix, etc. to a storage location when they are no longer needed by scanning.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in warehouse including taking out trash, old pallets etc.
• Work with operators when in the process of changing over to a different product.
• Assist production employees when possible to ensure production does not stop.
