Job summary

American Packaging Corporation (APC) in Story City, IA seeks a Night Shift Loader/Unloader. You will load and unload trucks, stage materials, inventory raw materials, and supply machinery with rolls and finished goods labels.

This position requires adherence to SPOT Safety, operation of fork trucks, accurate material handling, and participation in cycle counts. High school diploma or GED is required; manufacturing experience is preferred. Willing to work 12-hour nights and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight; operate fork trucks (ride-on, scissor lift, walk behind).
• Stage inbound/outbound shipments and inventory raw materials.
• Maintain organized work area and assist with cycle counts.
• Receive materials using system and label as requested.
• Attend mandated meetings and work overtime as needed.
