Job summary

Danone seeks a Material Handler in Eugene, Oregon (Springfield area) for a Monday–Friday night shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM). You will support production by supplying materials, operating forklifts, and staging pallets to meet production and storage needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of forklift/PIV experience, with certification or the path to certification. Danone offers strong benefits through Local Teamsters 206 and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum six months’ experience operating a forklift, pallet jacks, and other Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
• You will have or obtain a company forklift operator certification.
• You will have trained and qualified as a Hand Packer.

Responsibilities

• Provide production materials before and during production runs and return unused materials to proper location.
• Maintain FIFO inventory practices.
• Organize waste/recycling materials and place in correct location.
• Pre-stage, stage, and consolidate materials on pallets to meet storage needs.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles in a busy environment and load/unload pallets.
