Job summary

BlueScope Buildings is hiring a Material Handler to operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other mobile equipment, handling raw materials and finished goods across plant, yard, and warehouse areas. The role includes loading/unloading, transport, and maintaining inventory while upholding safety and 5-S requirements.

The position runs Sunday night through Friday morning, 10:00pm–6:00am with overtime. Training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided, along with opportunities for growth in

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes or other mobile equipment.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Transport materials between storage and production areas.
• Safely operate lifting devices to position materials as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective actions.
• Maintain organization and housekeeping following 5-S standards.
