Job summary

Gulf Island LLC in Houma, LA is seeking a Night Shift Material Handler to safely move, store and distribute materials within the warehouse. You will support production by ensuring materials are available, accurately tracked, and delivered on time.

This role requires forklift operation, inventory awareness, and strong attention to safety in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse systems and the ability to read work orders and shipping documents are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years material handling or warehousing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and distribute materials to designated areas.
• Load/unload trucks with forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Maintain accurate inventory and participate in cycle counts.
• Ensure timely delivery to production lines and shipments.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work areas clean.
