Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking an entry-level Material Handler for 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) in Canaan, CT. This 12-month contract on a W2 basis targets candidates with basic warehouse exposure and a high school diploma.

The role involves moving materials and finished goods using forklifts and related equipment, following SOPs, and maintaining records under supervision. Strong English communication and basic math abilities are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year warehouse experience or related training.
• Basic skills training in an analytical method or operational process area.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend English documents and perform basic math.
• Effective communication with coworkers and supervisor.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials and finished products within a plant, facility, or warehouse.
• May maintain records of movements and inventory.
• Learns basic tasks and procedures within one skill area.
• Follows SOPs and quality guidelines while performing routine tasks.
• Works under general to limited supervision.
