Job summary

Aerotek in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Material Handler (Night Shift) to move materials in a busy electrical manufacturing shop, supporting machine operators and painters during the night shift.

You will handle sheet metal and components, use hand and power tools, assist with inventory and staging, and help keep production flowing in a fast-paced environment on a full-time, contract-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities

• Move sheet metal and smaller components by hand throughout the machine shop to support machine operators, fabricators, and painters
• Use basic hand tools and power tools to assist with general labor tasks as needed
• Support loading, unloading, and organizing materials in the warehouse and production areas
• Assist with inventory movement, material organization, and keeping work areas clean and orderly
• Stage materials at workstations to ensure production runs efficiently and on schedule
• Work safely around forklifts and other material handling equipment operated by team members
