Job summary

Biomerics, a world-class medical device manufacturer in North Carolina, seeks a Material Handler for the D Shift (8:00pm–8:00am) on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule. You will support packaging, material flow, equipment cleaning, and warehouse logistics to ensure smooth production operations.

The role emphasizes basic communication, safety, and documentation practices in a manufacturing setting. Prior forklift training is a plus, and HS diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Basic communication skills are needed for coordinating with supervision and teams.
• Manual dexterity is required for handling materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervision staff.
• Assist Packer/Inspector with duties.
• Relieve Packer/Inspector for breaks/lunch.
• Clean auxiliary equipment during mold changes (grinder, dryer, hopper/loader, conveyor).
• Keep material supplied and identified to and from warehouse.
• Remove finished product to staging area.
• Housekeeping/Safety.
• Check and clean vacuum hopper loader filter as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift Schedule
