Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Co. in Alamance, NC, is seeking a dedicated technician for 3rd shift (10:30 PM–7:00 AM) to care for industrial fluids including coolants and washes. The role supports our global operations and offers opportunities to grow within the Smart Services team.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic computer skills. Forklift experience is a plus. Pay ranges from $18–$20 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Standing and/or walking for 4–8 hours daily.
• Experience in manufacturing environment related to lubricants or lab testing preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge including internet and email.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform routine preventive maintenance on lubrication and fluid systems.
• Input data daily and generate performance reports.
• Handle materials, operate lift trucks, and move drums and totes.
• Make fluid corrections based on testing results when the site leader is absent.
• Follow procedures and adhere to customer and safety requirements.
• Participate in daily communication with the site supervisor.
