Job summary

B. Braun US Pharmaceutical Manufacturing LLC in Irvine, California is seeking an Operating Technician for Wed/Thurs-Sat 5:00pm-5:00am to join our onsite manufacturing team.

You will operate equipment, monitor quality, troubleshoot line interruptions, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and help train operators. The role reports to a Department Lead or Manager and offers opportunities to participate in continuous improvement programs and to collaborate with engineers and maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Technical & Hands-On requirements completed and passed at appropriate level.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned manufacturing equipment in accordance with SOPs and standard work.
• Monitor product quality and complete batch records and maintenance records.
• Troubleshoot machine or line stoppages and coordinate escalation for technical support.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance during downtime and collaborate with operations, mechanics and engineers.
• Train operators on standard work and troubleshooting techniques.
• Suggest changes to operating procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities such as LPMS, 5S, KATA, and Kaizen events.
