Abbott in Tipp City, OH, seeks a night-shift process operator in the Nutrition division. You’ll prepare, operate, and document bulk blending, heat treatment, and CIP processes to produce infant formula and nutritional products.

Training on dayshift for six months precedes a 12-hour rotating schedule. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and thrive in GMP-driven, team-based manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some college or vocational schooling is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and computer-controlled systems is desirable.
• Good written, verbal, computer, and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work safely in a team environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/operate/monitor/document bulk slurries for blending.
• Prepare/operate/monitor/document heat treatment processes.
• Prepare/operate/monitor/document blending processes.
• Weigh/document/batch ingredients using computer systems.
• Operate CIP systems for equipment cleaning.
• Support line work duties (Standardization/Final Water using ingredients).
• Maintain GMP compliance through cleaning and documentation.
• Receive transport and manage bulk ingredients and CIP chemicals.
• Perform and support other duties as assigned.
