Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Manufacturing Production Operator for the Scottsboro, AL plant to support the core team on the night shift. The role is 12-hour night shifts under the Pay-For-Skills program, with a $2.00 shift differential in addition to the base hourly rate of $23.08, offering room for advancement and strong job security in a Berkshire Hathaway company.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, heat tolerance, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow simple work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to tolerate heat, good vision, hearing, speaking, and finger dexterity as required.
• Ability to set up and follow simple work plans and communicate with co-workers.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Follow Johns Manville safety procedures and policies.
• Review and complete training on JSAs/SOPs; operate packaging station and overhead crane for handling rolls.
• Prepare pallets for use and ensure labeling is correct per finished product specifications.
• Complete data training such as daily checklists and housekeeping checklists.
