Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a Plant Technical Manager B shift to lead and coordinate manufacturing improvements across a multi‑department plant. You will oversee assembly, fixturing, and equipment development to ensure top quality and cost-effectiveness while driving timely design changes.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive automotive experience, and the ability to manage budgets, safety programs, and cross‑functional teams at customer sites.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years minimum experience in the automotive industry.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites including industrial plants.
• Organized with excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support plant safety programs and ensure engineering input into manufacturing processes.
• Provide leadership across all departments to support the manufacturing process.
• Direct assembly, fixturing and equipment development for high quality, cost‑effective production.
• Oversee quoting and implementation of product/process design changes.
• Support VA/VE activities with manufacturing engineering representation at trials and approvals.
• Develop annual budgets and schedules for purchase burden, labor and equipment.
• Supervise maintenance managers and manufacturing engineers; manage all site facilities.
