Blue Diamond Growers is recruiting for a Department Lead - MPL to provide functional leadership in a non-supervisory capacity while supporting plant operations. The role focuses on coordinating workflow, coaching team members, and ensuring adherence to SOPs, HACCP, GMPs, and safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of general manufacturing operations experience with at least 2 years on production lines.
• Must be trained in Blue Diamond Salida Main Processing Line work centers; SAP; HACCP auditing; GMPs; safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide functional leadership, communicate daily work plans, assign tasks, lead workflow, ensure timely and safe completion.
• Assist training and development of employees on duties, equipment, inventory and area requirements.
• Lead cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment and maintain sanitation records.
• Document and maintain work records to track daily productivity and ensure goals are met.
• Assist in writing, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs for assigned areas.
• Monitor performance metrics, provide feedback and recognize contributions.
• Support problem-solving for operational challenges and escalate to maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
• Operate equipment and perform changeovers as needed.
