Pittsburgh Glass Works, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support nighttime production, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate maintenance across departments.

The role drives process problem solving and continuous improvement on a rotating night schedule. The ideal candidate will read electrical/mechanical schematics, work with Allen-Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000), FANUC robots, and Cognex vision systems, and have 5+ years in manufacturing.

Competenze

• 5+ years of practical, related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000 ladder logic.
• Proficient in troubleshooting a FANUC robot program.
• Experience with Cognex vision systems.
• Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradly VFDs and Servos.
• Demonstrate success with past projects in glass manufacturing.

Mansioni

• Must be self-motivated to follow up on maintenance activities.
• Assess realistic task completion when actions do not match plans.
• Provide technical assistance to General Maintenance Mechanics (GMMs).
• On-site training resource for developing skills of GMMs.
• Attend meetings with Process Engineers and management for continuous improvement.
• Assist automation engineers with troubleshooting, contractor relations, and part ordering.
• Develop technical standardization opportunities and define equipment requirements.
• Resolve day-to-day maintenance or production problems involving equipment.
• Write work orders and procedures to correct malfunctions or improve processes.
• Provide training on plant technologies (PLC, robot, ladder logic) to Maintenance and Production staff.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and Purchasing on new equipment testing.
• Recommend spare parts and inventory levels.
