Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Distribution Center. The role covers maintenance and repair of facility equipment and conveyance systems, with emphasis on PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical drawings.

Shift 2B runs Tuesday through Friday, 5:30p–3:30a, at a rate of $29.55/hr plus $1/hr shift diff. Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience, an associate degree or technical certificate, and familiarity with DC software packages.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certificate in mechanical or electrical field.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Welding, cutting, and related fabrication skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, PLCs.
• Familiar with DC-specific software and equipment.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements per OSHA and LOTO.
• Maintain and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems.
• Report spare parts inventory and daily usage.
• Train junior technicians to improve performance.
• Work with vendors to complete projects safely.
• Support DC operations with other duties as needed.
