Job summary

Brakebush Chicken in Mocksville, NC seeks a C SHIFT (NIGHTS) Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot plant equipment, and input tasks in SAP while coordinating with supervision and other departments.

Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required. The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing and familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC and/or HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electronic equipment.
• Experience with PLC and/or HVAC systems.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, decimals).
• Safety trainings completed (e.g., LOTO, HazCom, forklift).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and downtime events.
• Assist with various work orders across the facility.
• Enter tasks completed in SAP and other required programs.
• Communicate with maintenance and other departments throughout the shift.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
