Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain and repair production equipment, packaging lines, and utility systems at our Anderson, SC facility. You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and drive systems, and document work orders in our CMMS.

The role requires reading schematics, following OSHA protocols, and maintaining a safe work environment. The team values reliability, safety, and teamwork on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or technical degree in mechanics/electrical/computer science preferred.
• 5+ years as a maintenance technician in manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and electrical testing meters.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs and AC/DC drive systems on production equipment.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on machinery and utilities.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documents.
• Document work orders promptly in CMMS and maintain records.
• Maintain clean, safe, compliant work area and follow SOPs and OSHA protocols.
• Coordinate with teams and report issues affecting production efficiency.
• Assist with inventory control and parts allocation for work orders.
• Operate forklift safely when required.
