Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC in Heflin, AL is seeking a Level II Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations with a full range of multi-craft maintenance, focusing on reliability. You will perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production equipment and contribute to process improvement.

Requirements include a high school diploma, strong mechanical and electrical skills, proficiency with Word/Excel, ability to read schematics, and at least 5 years in industrial

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background.
• 2-year Technical Degree desired.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical methods.
• Install and align mechanical drive systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on motors and conveyors.
• Replace failed parts and adjust equipment to specifications.
• Mentor junior technicians on maintenance procedures.
