Job summary

Corning is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure production and facility equipment operate efficiently and safely through preventative maintenance, calibration, and prompt repairs. This role supports production, engineering, and operations by maintaining equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree or 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and industrial systems, and proficiency with CMMS

Qualifications

• Technical degree or 3–5 years of equivalent hands-on maintenance experience.
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of machine functions, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance per schedules.
• Complete maintenance work orders, CMMS entries, and documentation.
