Job summary

Rosenboom is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and fabricate replacement parts to keep production moving.

In this hands-on role you will test and improve machinery and facility systems, read blueprints, and work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment upkeep to ensure machines operate safely and reliably.
• Set up, fabricate, and repair machine components using machine tools, hand tools, and power tools
• Test, maintain, and improve machinery and facility systems, working closely with production and maintenance teams to support plant operations
