Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our New Hudson, MI site. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and factory maintenance across equipment such as headers, furnaces, conveyors, and motors, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires 3+ years in an industrial environment, knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems and CMMS usage, with basic welding skills and strong mechanical reasoning.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum industrial/manufacturing environment experience.
• Industry understanding in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and servo motors.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with proactive maintenance systems (CMMS).
• Understand basic electrical prints.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical control circuits.

Responsibilities

• Repair, preventative maintenance and factory maintenance of site equipment.
• Update departments on status of operating equipment.
• Work with vendors, riggers and millwrights on installation of equipment.
• Report to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
• Support 3rd shift operations (10pm - 6:30am).
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and energy-reduction guidelines.
