The incumbent will design and implement machine upgrades, support continuous improvement, and train staff in Total Production Maintenance practices while following safety policies and 5S principles.
Qualifications
- Completion of higher education degree or certificates in maintenance-related fields and/or 15+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical repair of industrial machines.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- No immigration sponsorship available for this role.
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical and hydraulic schematics and use them for maintenance repairs.
- Commitment to safety and 5S in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment.
- Advanced troubleshooting for machine issues including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Respond to work orders to improve production capacity and reduce waste.
- Move machines as needed and participate in equipment upgrades with teams.
- Train other personnel in maintenance responsibilities and TMP practices.
