Job summary
Belcan Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Fort Wayne, IN facility. This role requires independent work performing preventative and routine maintenance tasks with a night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Start dates are immediate.
The position emphasizes troubleshooting, equipment repair, reading schematics, and collaborating with teams to maintain production lines. On-the-job training and advancement opportunities are available within a growing aerospace environment.
Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience in electrical, welding, plumbing, motor control and pump repair.
- Reading blueprints and schematics required.
- Ability to communicate in English and weekend work.
- Post-secondary technical education preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues
- Repair failures of production and facilities equipment to maximize equipment efficiency
- Understand diaphragm pump operations and perform repairs
- Read blueprints and schematics
- Plumbing and wastewater skills helpful
- Other duties as assigned
- Limited supervision of personnel for project work
- Basic computer skills required
