Job summary
International Vitamin Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for night shifts in Greenville, SC. You will perform daily preventive and repair maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment, aiming to maximize uptime and performance while upholding safety and cGMP standards.
The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, reading blueprints, and strong teamwork.
Qualifications
- 5+ years equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial environments.
- Familiar with LOTO and OSHA safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- English language proficiency in reading/writing.
Responsibilities
- Directly assist in installation, relocation, troubleshooting, repair, and setup of equipment.
- Provide daily preventive and corrective maintenance and complete associated paperwork.
- Monitor and adjust machinery to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
- Convert machinery for product or packaging changes.
- Operate machinery when required and verify repairs are effective.
- Identify parts or machines needing replacement parts.
- Work solo or with others to complete tasks and respond to maintenance requests.
- Follow Standard Work and maintain 5S and shop cleanliness.
