Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support upkeep of our industrial cold storage facility and key equipment. The role emphasizes a mechanical mindset with growth opportunities in facility maintenance and MHE diagnostics.

Ideal candidates have hands-on industrial maintenance experience and basic knowledge of electrical/hydraulic systems. OSHA 10/30 and forklift or HVAC/electrical certifications are valued. Local candidates in Rochelle, IL encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial maintenance or building systems.
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems; willingness to learn.
Familiar with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
MHE experience a strong plus.
Certifications such as OSHA 10/30, forklift, HVAC/electrical are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on MHE like forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks.
Assist in diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on MHE and building systems.
Maintain facility infrastructure: lighting, plumbing, HVAC, dock doors, racking, etc.
Conduct inspections for wear and potential failures on equipment and components.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and assist with snow removal and exterior upkeep.
Document work orders, inspections and repairs in the maintenance system.
Follow safety procedures and report hazards; collaborate with teams.
