Marcal Paper in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our night shift to keep production lines running smoothly and safely.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and train teammates, reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Engineering.

This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and experience with industrial software such as Allen Bradley Studio Suite or Siemens.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance experience of 3 years is required.
• Mechanical knowledge of 2 years is required.

Responsibilities

• Start machines and observe mechanical/electrical operation to determine efficiency and detect problems.
• Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
• Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas for repair.
• Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
• Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
• Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
• Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
• Record repair and machine maintenance information.
• Communicate effectively with teammates.
• Share knowledge and train others.
