Job summary

Lunds & Byerlys Mitchell Road is seeking a Maintenance Technician C for a full-time position on a 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am) at Mitchell Road facility. The role covers preventive and routine maintenance across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and machine servicing to ensure product quality and safety.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year experience with packaging/food equipment, and PLC troubleshooting ability.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree or equivalent knowledge desired.
One or more years' experience with packaging and food manufacturing equipment and repairs.
Solid mechanical, electrical, and repair troubleshooting abilities including PLC.

Responsibilities

Follow equipment repair and maintenance guidelines to ensure product quality and freshness according to department standards.
Troubleshoot repair issues and consult with vendors or internal staff to resolve problems.
Maintain equipment parts and supplies inventories and anticipate needed items.
Perform preventive maintenance following the established schedule.
Inform production workers of downtime due to maintenance to minimize impact.
Keep a clean and orderly work area, free from debris and clutter.
