Job summary

Amphenol Industrial Operations in Endicott, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.

You will work with engineering to optimize productivity, read schematics, and support CNC, Swiss lathe, DMG milling centers, stamping presses, and automated systems. Safety, quality, and continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years experience as a maintenance technician.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to read schematics.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work performed and parts used.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and control panels safely.
• Support CNC, Swiss lathe, DMG milling centers, stamping presses, and automated systems.
• Collaborate with engineering to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and manage spare parts inventory.
