Position overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production and company facilities.

Compensation and Schedule

• Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 6PM-6AM.
• Must be flexible for overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative and predictive maintenance as per schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Use root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and collaborate with other departments.
• Operate all plant equipment proficiently for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Communicate critical findings to team leaders and production staff.
• Record maintenance activities using CMMS.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication, including use of machine shop equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, seals, clutches, brakes, and motor control circuits.
• Experience with VF Drives, PLCs, and reading schematics is required.
• Adhere to GMP, PPE, SOP, HACCP, OSHA regulations, and focus on continuous skill improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience with at least 5+ years in manufacturing.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong safety focus.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Proficiency in English reading and understanding plant quality and safety standards.

Physical and Working Conditions

• Exposure to dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, noise, and mechanical, chemical, electrical hazards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, reach, kneel, crawl, and communicate effectively.
• Use of personal protective equipment provided.
