Job summary

Fluor Corporation in Gray Court, SC is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment. This full-time, direct-hire position operates 7pm–7am on a 2/2/3 schedule, every other weekend, in a climate-controlled nonwovens manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and SAP/ERP familiarity; HS diploma and 3+ years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Follow safety policies and quality procedures to meet customer expectations.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for required maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test to ensure proper operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and monitor equipment performance.
• Operate hand and power tools and use electrical meters as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures, and keep work areas clean.
• Operate production equipment within specified limits and monitor for defects.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Support Lead Operator with machine setup and operations when needed.
• Fill in for Lead Operator when not on site and assist team as required.
• Maintain production records and monitor product quality against control charts.
• Conduct site-safety audits and report any issues to supervision.
