Tarkett in Chagrin Falls, OH is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to support a 12‑hour schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off. Starting pay up to $35.25 per hour, with overtime and double-time opportunities, plus a $1.00 shift differential and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, ability to read blueprints, and comfort with industrial equipment, welding, and shop tools.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-5 years recent / current Industrial Maintenance experience or completed a two-year training program in an industrial maintenance field with 1-2 years experience.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and determine materials and methods needed to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Wire 480-volt 3PH circuits per NEC and 220/120-volt circuits.
• Repair mechanical and electrical equipment and troubleshoot problems.
• Use measuring/testing equipment like multimeters, ammeters, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators.
• Read blueprints/schematics to determine job requirements and procedures.
• Perform metal fabrication, ARC and/or MIG welding, acetylene torch work for brazing and cutting.
• Operate machine shop equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
• Cut, thread, and install piping and conduit using threading machines and benders.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry and boilers.
