Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment and machinery in our manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on problem solving and a focus on reliability during night shifts.

You will install, adjust and repair equipment, use hand and power tools, test systems, and collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems; PLC troubleshooting preferred.
• Welding experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust and repair production equipment and special purpose machines.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned.
• Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs and discuss with head mechanic for approval and repair as needed.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Summary

This role is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing manufacturing maintenance


• Previous experience in plant machine maintenance; hydraulics, electrical, ability to troubleshoot PLC's, welding (preferred but can work around)
