CRH plc's Oldcastle division in Ridgeway, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of production equipment, tools, and machinery. You will work under the Maintenance Manager to keep line equipment running and safe for daily operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in manufacturing maintenance, with hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, and welding experience.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing maintenance on production equipment.
• Experience in plant machine maintenance; hydraulics, electrical, PLC troubleshooting; welding preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Install, adjust and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned.
• Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs and discuss with head mechanic for approval and repair as needed.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing manufacturing maintenance
• Previous experience in plant machine maintenance; hydraulics, electrical, ability to troubleshoot PLC's, welding (preferred but can work around)
