Job summary

Axle Box Innovations is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Maintenance Technician in Bryan, TX. You will support the maintenance team by inspecting, repairing, and documenting maintenance activities while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, plus experience with hand and power tools. You will work nights (5pm-3am), Monday through Friday, on-site at our Bryan facility.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Aid in the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities within the organization.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and perform basic repairs or escalate issues to senior maintenance staff as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment manuals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Provide support during maintenance projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, and renovations.
• Assist in the fabrication and installation of components as needed.
• Problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements

• Education:High school/Diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
• Physical Fitness:Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, bending, standing for long periods, and working in various environmental conditions. Ability to lift up to 50lbs without accommodation.
• Technical Aptitude:Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with hand and power tools is advantageous.
• Communication Skills:Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and document maintenance activities.
• Attention to Detail:Strong attention to detail to identify and resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
• This position will require the completion of a Non-Disclosure Agreement between the employee and the company.
