Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd Shift (10:15pm – 6:45am) in Portage, WI. You will ensure reliable and safe operation of production equipment and facility systems, troubleshooting issues and performing preventative maintenance as part of a team focused on continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with engineering and production to diagnose problems, repair components, and support safe, efficient operations while maintaining documentation and inventory using CMMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required; extrusion equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose, repair, and optimize automation systems including PLCs, drives, sensors, and related control equipment.
• Operate and maintain machining/fabrication tools to support equipment repairs and modifications.
• Document work and manage parts inventory; use CMMS and Microsoft Office to track maintenance activities.
